What can I eat? That’s always a big question when you’re newly diagnosed. If you cook, the question becomes, what should I cook? That’s why Joslin.org provides so many diabetes-friendly recipes. With fall in full swing, now’s a great time to revisit some of your favorite seasonal flavors. Here are some of our favorites.

Low-Carb Chili
This is a healthy and hearty recipe, low in carbohydrates but really high in protein. If you’re living with diabetes, increasing your protein intake while decreasing carbohydrates can be a great way to control blood sugar and watch your weight.

Cheesy Beef Casserole
This dish is low in carbohydrates even though it uses potatoes.
